Clarity's Culture Shined in 2019

Clarity

At Clarity, we have a culture centered around technology, innovation, and sincerity. We use these pillars to inspire everything we do, from creating new tools to having a simple conversation.  2019 was a marquee year for Clarity.

We’re excited to share just a few of the things we did this past year to create a company culture we’re proud of. These activities helped us create an atmosphere for our employees that they enjoy, allowing them to carry over that passion and excitement to better serve our clients and partners.

Here are the highlights of Clarity Benefit Solutions’ events in 2019:

We hosted an ugly sweater holiday party

There’s no better way to get in the holiday spirit than gathering all our team members for some festivities. We wanted everyone to get creative and show their personalities -- so we made the theme of our party ugly sweaters!

It was fun to see everyone’s personalities shine through their sweater choices (and creations!) while gathering everyone in a social setting. We know how important it is during the holiday time to balance work and life, and what better way to do that than to gather the team in a relaxed social setting!

We welcomed thousands of new stakeholders

This year we welcomed over 30,000 new participants to our Clarity products. Growing that much allowed us to give more people access to great benefit technology like our mobile app, decision support tools and the customer service experience to support them.

Our culture is something we want to share with as many people as possible.  We aim to make benefits simply smarter for more individuals and organizations. By expanding into new markets and welcoming new participants, we can share our culture.

We gave back to our community

Our company isn’t confined to our offices. We are proud members of our New Jersey community and are always looking for ways to give back.

This past year, we organized a food drive to support a local food bank. Through our efforts we were able to provide the food bank with boxes of non-perishable food that will directly benefit members of our local community. The contributions of our generous employees will help those who are less fortunate be able to enjoy holiday meals with their families.

If you know of a charity that benefits southern New Jersey, please let us know. We are looking to continuously support our community throughout 2020.

We encouraged our employees to hit the books

At Clarity, we invest in our employees and strongly encourage them to always learn more. That’s why we sponsored continuing education courses this past year.

Our employees were able to take courses designed to make them more efficient workers, stronger leaders, and take their knowledge of benefits administration software to the next level.

We know that education is an ongoing journey rather than a one-time event, so we plan to keep sponsoring continuing education for as long as we can. We also plan to keep offering student loan assistance of $10,000 towards student loans, to encourage our employees to pursue their education.

We rolled out free HR best practice webinars

As part of our company culture, we strive to make the employee experience better for everyone -- including our partners and clients! That’s why we created our HR best practice webinar series.

These webinars are meant to address some of the most important aspects of human resources: compliance, technology use, culture, and more. These are free resources that share insight from industry leaders -- and they are all derived from the principles of our culture. By educating others on these principles and their applications, we hope participants can pass them on to others.

Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter so you don’t miss the announcement of the next one!

We’ve spoken so many times about how culture is so important for increasing employee productivity, engagement, retention, and more. All of those things can help your company perform its best, overall and at an individual level. We are excited to have added to our culture throughout 2019 and will continue to improve it even more this year.
