Eligible Health Care Expenses List

A treadmill may be eligible for reimbursement with a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) and health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). A treadmill is not eligible for reimbursement with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).

Tricare fees are eligible for reimbursement with a health savings account (HSA) in limited circumstances and unless already paid for with pre-tax dollars, and may be eligible with a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Tricare premiums are not eligible with a flexible spending account (FSA), dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA), or a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA).

Tubal ligation procedures are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Tubal ligation procedures are not eligible with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA), or a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA).

Tuition is not eligible for reimbursement with flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), health reimbursement accounts (HRA), dependent care flexible spending accounts (DCFSA) and limited-purpose flexible spending accounts (LPFSA).

Tutoring is not eligible with a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA) or a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA).

Tylenol is eligible for reimbursement with flexible spending accounts (FSA), health savings accounts (HSA), and health reimbursement accounts (HRA). They are not eligible for reimbursement with dependent care flexible spending accounts and limited-purpose flexible spending accounts (LPFSA).

Medical expenses in excess of your plan's usual, customary and reasonable charges are eligible for reimbursement with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA), or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA) if the underlying expenses qualify. Ultrasound reimbursement is eligible with a flexible spending account (FSA), health savings account (HSA) or a health reimbursement arrangement (HRA). Ultrasound is not eligible for reimbursement with a limited-purpose flexible spending account (LPFSA) or a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA).
